The 111th Heavy Brigade was a heavy infantry and armored unit lead by Marshal Commander "Warmonger" and Senior-later Marshal Commander- Drax that served the Galactic Republic's Grand Army during the Clone Wars. As suggested by the name, the 111th was heavily armed and was primarily a heavy offensive unit, often used as the initial attack force for planetary invasions. The 111th had a surprising amount of volunteer troopers within its ranks, along with a smaller number of standard clone troopers. Troopers within the 111th were distinguishable from other units via their dark green markings on their armour, including a helmet design similar to the 501st Legion and a stripe running down a troopers' left shoulders and curving back towards their back, near their waist. Many troopers also sported a black emblem of a circle, with eight rectangles pointing out in all directions somewhere on their armor, usually in the center of the chest.

Throughout the Clone Wars, the 111th fought on many battlefronts across the galaxy includings Geonosis, Mygeeto, and Umbara. During the war, the unit had become extremely independent, often assigning missions to themselves and partaking in small wars on their own with the Republic's knowledge.

Description[]

The 111th Heavy Brigade was a military division of clone and volunteer troopers with armored units. They were under the command of Volunteer Marshal Commander Warmonger, and later placed fully under the command of Marshal Commander Drax. They were also led by staff officers such as Battalion Commander Alexis Deltern.

The brigade was known best for it's heavy attack style, and just as often the cunning tactics that they used in battle. The 111th consisted of multiple sub-units including the 8th Sky Burner company and a multitude of platoons and squads. Their infantry roster mostly consisted of standard riflemen, though among them were many specialists such as heavy troopers, AT-RT troopers, airborne units, and Advanced Recon Force troopers. They also had Cold Assault Troopers and uniforms for when they needed to invade frozen worlds. The unit also held at least two squads of Clone Commandos, and a number of Advanced Recon Commandos, such as Sergeant ARC-3791 "Cordoski" and VARC Captain Kara Pahanin, a volunteer trooper who was designated as a volunteer ARC trooper. Alongside these were pilots and Biker Advanced Recon Commandos. The 111th had at least one squad of infiltration troopers, who specialised in sneaking into enemy bases and fortifications when required. This presented them with a plethora of options for handling a variety of situations.

History[]

The First Battle of Geonosis[]

Main article: First Battle of Geonosis

The 111th was among the first of the Grand Army units deployed during the battle, and helped extract the Jedi strike team from the arena. After the Jedi were rescued, the brigade was shipped off to the main battle. Led by Senior Commander CC-2075, while Marshal Commander Warmonger was out with the rest of the corps the 111th was apart of, the 111th joined in on the fron tlines, eventually climbing a Geonosian spire and destroying it from the inside before setting course to destroy a Trade Federation coreship before it could leave the planet, and distribute its millions of droids across the galaxy. After heavy fighting on the way to the coreship, and meeting up with Ironsights, who had lost his squad in the battle, the 111th managed to enter the coreship and destroy it from the inside.

"We're going to change the galaxy."
CC-2075, "Drax", after first seeing the 111th armor with green markings.

After the battle had been won, the 111th was sent to Coruscant before being shipped back off into combat. During the battle, a Jedi had seen the 111th's feat of taking down the coreship. This Jedi told High Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi who would come by and congratulate the brigade, and officially list them as a heavy brigade. Afterward, Kenobi introduced them to one Amari Or'del, who presented the 111th with a set of phase I armor with dark green markings. The 111th was also granted their first attachment of commandos, later becoming known as the 38th Emerald Squad, which would become fiercly loyal to the 111th.

Defense of the Outer Rim[]

Outpost Defense[]

A short while after getting geared up in their new armor, the 111th was shipped off to the Outer Rim to defend it from now advancing Confederacy forces. On one such world, a small detachment of 111th troopers alongside Jedi General Lena "Lightning" defended an outpost from a regiment of battle droids.

Invasion of Thule[]

The Dark Reaper Crisis was already in full swing and the Siege of Thule was underway when the 111th arrived. Lieutenant Alexis Deltern was in second command of a Company sent to support the 46th Reaver Corps down at a Republic landing zone. There she and her Company reported to Captain Legate. Soon after meeting up, Legate was contacted by Bravo-4 Company of the 91st Mobile Reconnaissance Corps , reporting they had been caught in an ambush in a nearby Savannah and needed reinforcements. Deltern was assigned to reinforce and extract the 91st, and was given an All Terrain Open transport for transportation for herself and her platoon of troopers.

Upon arriving at the provided coordinates, Deltern ordered all of the platoon save for Sergeant Major Vanessa Duncan's squad to move out, leaving Duncan's squad to guard the walker. After some investigation, Deltern found a heavily wounded trooper on the ground who warned her the whole thing was a trap, before he was promptly killed by a sniper. B2 Super Battle droids and additional snipers immediately advanced on their position. Deltern was soon contacted by the company'scaptain, who informed her they were southeast of her position. Quickly, she and her platoon retreated to the captain's location. Once there, Deltern asked the captain where the wounded were. Coldly, the captain stated he left the wounded so that the others could survive. Angered, she, along with her other troopers proceeded to relieve the captain of his command, though he was shot by incoming droids before he could be arrested.

With the droids moving at them once again, Deltern ordered for the surviving 91st to get into the AT-OT, and for it to return to base while the company held their position and awaited extraction. Soon, she received a transmission from the Republic landing zone warning that Hyena Droid Bombers were en-route. The troopers scattered and hid for three hours until the area was cleared, and LAAT's descended to extract them. However, the LAAT's were spotted by an armored patrol and were attacked. Deltern, wounded and on the ground, ordered the LAAT's to take off with the rest of the troopers. Thankfully for her, a BARC speeder deployed from one of the gunships and took her back to base.

First Battle of Ryloth[]

Main article: First Battle of Ryloth

The 111th was deployed to assist the 46th and 55th corps with removing on-world Separatist opposition after the orbital blockade had been broken over Ryloth. The 111th, along with units from the 46th and 55th, conducted lightning raids on the CIS forces, and eventually took a CIS fortification at the end of a valley by taking and fighting through multiple different passageways to reach it.

The 111th moved out across the Outer Rim for months before finally shipping back to Coruscant in preparation to head back out.

The Capture of Drax and Betrayal of "Mint"[]

After returning to Coruscant, CC-2075, who had taken up the nickname "Drax" , was captured by former Republic inventor Amari Or'del. who had turned on the Republic after they had refused to heed his word of a coming CIS invasion of the planet Wayland. Alongside him was his droid and second in command, 618, a droid modelled after a BX-Commando Droid. Despite 618's original goal to use a disguise to acquire files only accessible to high ranking clone officers for the sake of gathering intel, the droid chose to maintain the disguise longer than he necessarily had to. Disguised as Drax, he fully assumed the Senior Commander's position during the two weeks Drax was held captive by Or'del.

While undercover, 618 caused by refusing to apprehend the troopers "Wasp" and "Bumblebee", whose actions resulted in the deaths of clone commandos from Emerald Squad, led by volunteer Captain "Mint", an ex-member of the 98th Demolition Squad. Convinced that Drax did not care for the lives of his commandos, Mint left the Heavy Brigade, intent on acquiring his revenge.

618 revealed himself to the 111th and convinced Mint and a few of his supporters to join him and Or'del, with the lofty goal of overthrowing the Republic and Confederacy.

Months past, and a series of battles ensued. Or'del's forces claimed the lives of various troopers in the 111th Heavy Brigade, the 412th Spark Battalion, and 501st Legion. Mint, his troopers, and Or'del were captured.

There was irony in the fact Captain Mint met his end during his imprisonment at the hands of a clone commando from the 111th. Or'del, on the other hand, had his jail time cut short when he was freed by a disguised 618.

Aftermath of Mint[]

Following Mint's betrayal, the 111th was brought closer together. They quickly became one of the most decorated units in the Grand Army during the war. Despite this, many higher-ups in the Republic began questioning the Heavy Brigade's loyalty due to their heavily independent operating style.

Disbandment and Attacks on the 111th[]

Fearing the 111th Heavy Brigade was going to initiate a coup, a small section of Republic officers requisitioned a band of Red Guards and sent them to cull the 111th's leadership. Lieutenant "Vengeance" Duncan sister to Lieutenant Vanessa Duncan, repelled the guardsmen.

Doubling down, the rogue officers quietly siphoned off some clone troopers from the 501st Legion, and sent them on a hunt for the 111th. The 111th personnel stationed on Coruscant evacuated their base and hid within the Coruscant underground, where they prepared for the next battle and intended to keep the fighting to a minimum to minimise civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure.

Each of the attackers from the 501st was incapacitated or killed, and the remainder of the siphoned troopers were recalled to defend the rogue officers. They were unprepared for the highly-focused ferocity of the one-eleventh, who stormed the command post and captured all of the officers. Due to their rapid response and the evidence placed before Republic High Command, the small segment of officers were brought to trial and the 111th was permitted to return to service.

Return to Service and Invasion of Lugzan[]

Main article: Invasion of Lugzan

The 111th was almost immediately assigned a new mission after returning to service, and tasked with capturing Lugzan for the Republic. During the battle, a strike team led by Marshal Commander Drax, and including Captain Alexis Deltern, Corporal Akaan, Corporal Crystal, Trooper Viper and Trooper Seer was dispatched to eliminate a droid position. The strike team's LAAT was shot down, and multiple troopers were killed in the crash.

Deciding that splitting up was the best bet to increase their chances of destroying the droid position while avoiding detection, the strike team split into two groups: Drax, Deltern and Akaan were in one group, and Crystal, Seer, and Viper -who was wounded- were placed in the other.

Drax's team laid down covering fire for the other team, allowing them to access the C.I.S. base. Once inside, the forward team destroyed several of the droids inside before they were pushed back by an armoured platoon sent to reinforce the base. Drax and Deltern destroyed two of the foremost tanks, halting the armoured platoon long enough for everyone to withdraw.

Heading across a bridge and to the extraction zone, and dug in. Seer was killed in the ensuing firefight before LAAT gunships arrived and the remains of the strike team piled in. Akaan's gunship was shot down during the extraction. Droids descended on the crash site, and he was captured by the C.I.S.

Assault on Mygeeto[]

On the world of Mygeeto, the CIS had taken up a fortification in a large factory complex. Needing heavy assistance, the Galactic Marines called the 111th for assistance in taking a factory.l

Without a suitable landing zone, the 111th's gunships had no choice but to land directly in the enemy's line of fire. Pushing forward against the battle droids,

111th Break In

Lance Corporal CT-9305 "Brew", who had just transferred to the brigade from the Coruscant Guard, informed Drax that the buildings ahead had perfect sight lines for a sniper team. In agreement with Brew, Drax gave him permission to lead a sniper team to provide covering fire for the main force.

The main force took a different route, an Brew's team sneaked through alleyways to reach the road in front of the complex which contained the droid factory. Once there, the team encountered five AATs moving in a single file line down a narrow street, supported by droid infantry.

Brew's team destroyed the first tank with thermal detonators before the main force arrived and hit the second tank with rocket launchers. The third AAT, though considerably damaged, downed the heavy weapons troopers before they could destroy it. Understanding those tanks had to be eliminated, Brew leapt atop an AAT, entering it's hatch and taking control of it. With his commandeered AAT, Brew destroyed the fourth droid tank. A fifth tank opened fire, destroying Brew's main cannon. Without the main cannon, Brew's only resort was to ram the fifth and last AAT into a building, disabling it and permitting the 111th troopers to destroy the battle droid crew inside.

Pushing into the factory, the 111th cleared out the droids inside, including a command post housing commando droids and a T-series tactical droid. After the complex and factory fell into the Republic's hands, a C.I.S. counter force moved to retake it. A reinforcement group from the 21st Nova Corps provided assistance the 111th needed to hold down the area, and they succeeded in driving off the Separatists.

Mission to Seridan Prime[]

Main article: The Situation on Seridan Prime

After their victory on Mygeeto, the 111th was called in to investigate a planet where a detachment of 327th Star Corps had lost contact. After touching down and searching for a few hours, Deltern discovered a cave that the 327th had investigated beforehand, and Drax found the helmet of a dead trooper. After reuniting, Cordoski volunteered to explore the cave further in hopes of finding any survivors.

Soon after, the group encountered a creature known as a Shriekstalker, and found and fought more and more as they pushed on. Eventually, the team located the remains of the 327th, along with a large creature dubbed a Ripjaw. The team managed to evade the creature by leaving through a smaller tunnel that the beast couldn't fit through, with Jedi Vixen acquiring the datapad of the 327th officer i- charge. After exiting the cave network, the team called for a bombing run on the cave, burying the Ripjaw and the bodies of the 327th.

Factory Assault on Geonosis[]

The Factory Assault on Geonosis was a brief but large scale engagement in which the CIS attempted to get a droid factory back online. Republic High Command dispatched the 7th Sky Corps, 501st Legion, 212th Attack Battalion, the 111th and Clone Force 99 to destroy the factory and kill or capture General Grievous, who was leading the Separatist operation.

The 111th landed alongside the rest of the initial attack wave, pushing their way to the main complex. They spotted General Grievous, who quickly fled off-world when Grand Army reinforcements arrived. The CIS surrounded and bombarded the Grand Army forces, resulting in their retreating to an encampment. The 111th fought viciously and secured a victory over the Confederacy.

Battle of Umbara[]

Main article: Battle of Umbara

The 111th was deployed in a small force to Umbara, as many of their other units had to be sent elsewhere. Lieutenant "Vengeance" Duncan was given command of a company to once again assist the 46th and 55th, though Umbaran anti-aircraft weaponry shot them all down and they were forced to hold their positions.

Strangely enough, the Umbaran infantry stopped attacking, but a type of bomber that seemed to be made out of a mix of biomass and metal began firing on their position. This was followed by infantry of similar appearance assaulting their position. They were eventually reinforced by CC-3840-0020 "Netic" of the 55th Armoured Corps who helped defend the group with his troopers until multiple drop pods fell, landed in the area and deploying their occupants: clone assassins

The clone assassins drove the bioforms back into the forest, but when they returned, all of the troopers in thelower ranks had lost all recollection of what transpired. The assassin's told Netic that he was to say they had fought off experimental droids. Pressing for more information, "Vengeance" was eventually told that Republic High Command had tested experimental holographics on the group. This angered Vengeance, who ordered her troopers to kill the assassins if they were to show themselves again.

Or'del's Renewed War[]

Sometime after returning to Coruscant, "Vengeance" struck out on her own and fought a small battle with a local gang. Finding where they shipped much of their contraband, she attacked the area, though was injured in the process. This gave 618, who had been stalking her for the past hour, ample opportunity to kidnap "Vengeance" and give Or'del leverage against the 111th.

After learning of the kidnapping, Captain Vanessa Duncan set out and searched for her, taking a large group of troopers along with her. It wasn't until a holotable activated to show 618, along with "Vengence" alive. 618 told the group to head to a bar on Durazan, where one of the patrons then led them to a nearby monastery. After entering, the group encountered another holotable which revealed Or'del, who confirmed that he was not there in person. There he offered the 111th a chance to work with him and overthrow both the Republic and the Confederacy. While Duncan, May Kato and "Mute" refused this outright, the rest of the group went off to where Or'del had told them to meet him.

Once there, 618 greeted the group, now led by Vixen, and led them over to Or'del's workshop. Only four of them were allowed inside. Vixen went with Lieutenant "Ironsights", Lieutenant Kara Pahanin, and Sergeant Brew. Once in there, the group convinced Or'del to hand "Vengeance" over to Pahanin, who took her back outside. Whilst the rest stayed behind, Vixen distracted Or'del and Brew covertly placed explosives over the room. However, Ironsights shot Brew, wounding him. Vixen, unknown to Brew, hooked his saber onto his belt before force pushing him out of the room and blowing the charges, though Or'del and Ironsights survived.

Vixen was later be revealed to have survived, but went into hiding soon after killing a Jedi youngling.

Assault on The Promise[]

Main article: Assualt on The Promise

Shortly after the death of Vengeance, a band of pirates hired by Or'del boarded a Venator-Class Star Destroyer transporting a large haul of tibanna gas. The 111th was dispatched to rescue its crew, including an admiral, Jedi general, and a marshal commander. Upon arriving the two teams planned to take both the engine room and the main bridge. Brew, Spector, and Kato took and held the engine room from pirate forces, while Drax, Alexis Deltern, and CL-6701 "Viper" took the bridge. All troopers were warned to check their fire in the event that a room had tibanna gas within it, and the groups set off.

Spector was wounded while en route to the engine room, but Brew and Kato were able to cover his escape and make it to the engine room on their own. Once in, they successfully cleared the room and welded the blast doors shut. Meanwhile, the second team arrived to the main bridge, though Drax remembered the risk of explosive gas and called for Kato to come to their position to help cut the door down. Upon her arrival, she managed to breach the door and the troopers entered. Viper, however, shot a flare into the room, and set a barrel of tibanna gas aflame. Drax then ordered for all of the 111th to evacuate, resulting in all of the 111th escaping, though the hostages perished.

Zxarion[]

First Invasion of Zxarion[]

Main article: First Invasion of Zxarion

The 111th was called in to liberate a fortification known as "The Wall" from CIS hands on the world of Zxarion, as well as rescue multiple senators the Separatist had captured. The brigade had landed into open fire and began pushing forward, forced to cut down tank barriers before proceeding any further.

Before long, The Wall was breached and a strike team extracted the senators, though by this point the 111th was heavily outmatched with all of their walkers destroyed, and needed to retreat. Covering the escape of the base itself, Brew used all of his explosives to bring a hallway crumbling down, halting any advancing droids. However during an evacuation, a LAAT gunship containing Brew and Cordoski, as well as a commando named Rior, was shot down, and the three were captured.

Rescue on Zxarion[]

Main article: Rescue on Zxarion

Soon after, a small strike team consisting of two commandos and Captain Riot of the 401st Coruscant Guard was put together to rescue the troopers. Once there, they were able to infiltrate the droid defenses and barely managed to free the prisoners and escape with their lives. They were successfully able to retrieve enough intelligence as well to prepare for a second ground force.

Second Invasion[]

Main article: Second Invasion of Zxarion

Landing in the same area as the last invasion force, the 111th pushed to cover their flanks whilst a commando team disabled an electric grid around The Wall which had protected it. Once it was disabled, the 111th was able to push up far enough to eventually take The Wall for the Republic.

It wasn't long, however, before Major Alexis Deltern was informed that a CIS fleet was on its way to retake the base. The 111th, not able to allow the compound to fall back into CIS hands, prepared to dig in.

Defense[]

Main article: Defense of Zxarion

The droids landed in the same landing zone as well, which gave the 111th ample firing lines as the droids deployed from landing craft. It wouldn't be until the second wave of droids that the CIS fleet in orbit would prepare to bombard the 111th. Forced to fall back, the 111th held onto whatever crevices they could until an attack force of Rogue Authority arrived and turned the battle, causing the CIS to retreat never to return.

Operation: Resolutions[]

Main article: Operation: Resolutions

After the Battles of Zxarion, the 111th focused its attention towards Or'del once more. At one point, 618 (who had captured and disguised himself as Cordoski) and Alexis Deltern made a deal that if the droid helped to remove Or'del he would be left free to do his research. Deltern had almost declined before the droid suggested to experiment on Cordoski himself. After the deal had been made, 618 provided the 111th with information on Or'del's ZX9 Battle droids, and their factory.

The factory was eventually located, and after the Shadow Hunter Cadre supplied the 111th with the means to destroy the droids, the 111th attacked. Despite the director of the factory fighting back, the 111th emerged victoriously and destroyed the factory ending all production of any more ZX9's.

This provided the 111th with ample opportunity to strike at Or'del's new workshop. After regrouping, the brigade set out to find and capture Or'del with the help of the Rogue Authority. After breaching the workshop and dismantling multiple droids, including ZX9's Or'del was eventually captured and was handed over to the Rogue Authority to contain.

Loss[]

During an unspecified engagement, heavy fighting ensued between C.I.S. battle droids and the 111th Heavy Brigade. Master Sergeant Dread was briefly separated from his medical squad and the rest of the Brigade, and artillery and ordinance wracked his position. When the 111th reached him, there was a only a burnt and smoking corpse, bearing his armour and markings. The common consensus was he was killed in action, though some suspected he was actually M.I.A. and had stolen a corpse from one of the adjacent G.A.R. units operating in the same field. Hyckshir was promoted to Sergeant during said engagement.

Mission to Rattak[]

Realisation[]

One of the 111th's recent additions was a new medical sergeant who asked several questions regarding Dread. Several personnel, including Cordoski, spoke of Dread as a decent soldier and doctor, whereas others such as Lieutenant Morphine declared information surrounding him to be of a classified nature.

The medical sergeant went into Drax's quarters while the Marshal Commander was in bed, and attacked him. After a violent fight, the medical sergeant was mortally wounded and activated a thermal detonator. Drax escaped the explosion, which heavily damaged his quarters.

Firefighter teams and patrols arrived. Drax was taken to the medical bay and his minor injuries were attended to in short order. Captain Faith, Rifleman Knight and others worked to ensure Drax's safety and discern the identity of the attacker, whose datapad revealed he was an undercover operative from the Special Operations Brigade. The operative was supposed to destroy the datapad before his mission, but did not comply with the directive. Information on the datapad, combined with a call made to Special Operations director Arligan Zey, revealed the operative's mission was to ascertain the 111th's loyalties. He went rogue by trying to assassinate Drax without the SOBDE's permission.

Further information led to the discovery of operation Mantle Storm, and that Master Sergeant Dread -post-humously promoted to lieutenant- was alive and imprisoned on Rattatak. Since the 111th was already within the Trilon Sector, they moved into the Guter Wade star system to take the planet.

Space Skirmish over Rattatak[]

A C-70 Consular-class Cruiser was nearby and alerted the newly-arrived 111th to the presence of Separatist forces in space and on-world, though the C.I.S. space presence amounted to a single Munificent-class star frigate and multiple vulture droid starfighters and hyena droid bombers.

The cruiser and the 111th's Venator-class Star Destroyer worked together to heavily damage the Munificent frigate and force it to retreat. The enemy droids contained advanced AI packages, leading to heavy casualties for the ARC-170 starfighter pilots sent to destroy them. With the initial space engagement wrapped up, the 111th prepared for ground assault.

Skirmish on Rattatak[]

The 111th's rapid attack startled the Confederate defenders, but their response was rapid. A Republic Commando squad rescued Dread and the one-eleventh retreated, but May Kato was left behind in a TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank by mistake. She fought a harrowing tank duel with several AATs and then her vehicle was hit by multiple blasts before careening into a tree, rendering her temporarily unconscious.

Along came the Separatist admiral in-charge of the operations on Rattatak, who temporarily took her prisoner before handing her over to the 111th. They left the Guter Wade star system in short order.

C-83 Rescue Mission[]

A Republic scout team dispatched to chart the newly discovered Outer Rim world of C-83 went missing and the 111th Heavy Brigade received orders to move in and rescue the team. They were accompanied by a recently arrived Republic Intelligence agent, Cecile Belikov-Vaugh, who was sent to keep open tabs on the 111th.

The retrieval group consisted of 24th Company and Adden Company, a few 74-Z speeder bikes and two HAVw A6 Juggernauts accompanied by 12 crew and 8 gunners.

The first LAAT to the surface carried Captain Faith and an infantry platoon, who off-loaded crates, landing lights and various antennas. Faith ordered the troopers to split into teams of four to remain safe while placing the lights.

It took them two hours to set up lights in an area three hundred meters wide before they hunkered down inside the LAAT, which was modified with various antennas to service them as a communications station.

CT-3227-217-71 uploaded a transmission to the Venator and the rest of the group arrived. The crew left the LAAT's engines on to break the storm and exited the gunship as Cordoski arrived in a shuttle. At least one of the Juggernauts, Juggernaut Alpha, moved out, with Cordoski and Faith inside. One of their troopers noticed that someone went missing outside. After noticing the damage done to the cable the missing trooper had been secured to, and finding recordings from the scout team they had been sent to find, the 111th deduced that they were being hunted by a group of native predators, the lequa. Afterwards, the group set off once again aboard their juggernaut, in search for a anomaly the scout team had detected, which they believed to possibly be a ship. On the way, the juggernaut was attacked by a oversized specimen of lequa, along with several smaller members of the species. 3 troopers were taken away by the predators, while Faith was injured by another lequa. Several lequa were killed in the skirmish, and the large specimen was injured by a detonator that it swallowed after Faith tossed it at the creature's open mouth.

After their success, the 111th Heavy Brigade returned to Coruscant until they were re-tasked with moving back to Rattatak.

Battle of Strandwald[]

WIP.

Order 66 & The Rise of the Galactic Empire[]

Due to the 111th being comprised of both clones and volunteers and having some sort of knowledge about the inhibitor chips, many refused to follow Order 66 or work with the Galactic Empire, however at least three unidentified members served as early stormtroopers and bore the unit's green markings.

During Order 66, the 111th was on their Venator-Class Star Destroyer, en-route to the planet of Kader, where the CIS was reported to be developing a new generation of battle droid. However while traveling through Hyperspace, CC-2075 received the order from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. As Drax refused, many other members, mostly volunteers began to engage in hostilities with the clones onboard.

Second Battle of Anaxes[]

Captain Kara and Captain Devil were tasked to Anaxes following the destruction of a pro-Separatist insurgency. The pair were garrisoned at a GAR outpost with personnel from the 373rd Arrowhead Legion when the Confederate Navy and Separatist droid army attacked the planet. Devil and Kara initially held back while the 373rd, later bolstered with reinforcements from the 302nd Legion, cut their way through the droid ranks. Later on they utilised a rocket launcher and blaster rifles to handle battle droids and armoured threats. Upon reaching an outpost manned by a dwindling number of clone troopers, Kara noted the presence of disabled Republic auto-turrets and used her rockets on them, rendering the turrets entirely useless before the Arrowhead Legion's engineers could fix them.

Deciding she had to make their after action reports look good, Kara put her rockets to use later on attacking entrenched droid positions, destroying over a platoon of battle droids and saving the lives of several clone troopers. The pair sat in the forward operating base after leading the charge to secure it and they shared rations. Devil learned Kara had purposefully given him bad rations, and he became physically ill.

Trivia[]

  • This was once apart of "Return to service:" "Upon their return, Marshal Commander Warmonger was there to greet the 111th himself. Shortly after reuniting with the 111th, their barracks were quarantined because of a suspected Senate Guard report. After testing positive for parasites (And Space AIDS, in Alexis' case) the troops were treated. When she attempted to break out for the fourth or fifth time, the subsequent paralysis injections and stun rounds stopped her heart, supposedly killing her. When they finally escaped, they hid in a secret tunnel and waited until they were released, whereupon they returned to their barracks to see it destroyed. They then commandeered the Senate Guard barracks and broke two holes in it before setting it on fire."
